Here are a couple of views of the fireplace. Notice the crown mold separating the dark ceiling and lighter wall. I didn't pick out the colors, my wife did. They really look nice.
A couple of views of one wall in the walk in closet. Though there was not a lot of space for a huge closet, the window was important to the look on the outside of the house. It has also proved nice to have so much natural light in the closet. The rod in front of the window gets used for short-term, temporary items. It's a nice place to air dry clothes that you don't want to run through the dryer.
Tile floor in the master bath.
Shower tile in the master bath. The shower pan was hand built using the Schluter system. Notice the cultured granite seat. Very nice to have; worth every penny.
Walls and shelves in the shower are cultured marble with a cultured granite frame around the edges and the window (not pictured). The marble walls extend clear to the ceiling and the ceiling is also capped with marble. No moisture vs. paint issues in this shower, ever!
This tile is in the second bathroom in the same home, not in the master suite. Floor was carpet before. All baseboard was pulled off and the tile was run clear to the wall. Baseboard then had to be trimmed down to fit between the new floor and the existing wainscotting. The green tile accents complement the tub surround which has a green cultured-granite border.
